Our research centers on AI safety. We develop algorithms and AI systems for classification, pattern recognition, forecasting, decision support, and multimedia content generation. We develop and design new machine learning methods, explainable by design. We conduct national and international research projects. We produce open-source software libraries. We publish research results in reputable scientific journals and popularize knowledge about artificial intelligence and machine learning.

The dynamic development of cybercrime makes cybersecurity more important than ever. Therefore, at NASK SCIENCE, we develop modern and effective cybersecurity systems. We investigate and analyze cybersecurity incidents and vulnerabilities in information systems, developing methods to address them. We also develop methods to protect information and create software to analyze network traffic. We implement advanced mechanisms to detect already known and brand new vectors of attacks on network infrastructure.

We conduct research in secure Internet of Things systems and quantum communication infrastructures. We develop methods for data mining and analysis in cluster, cloud, and fog environments, as well as methods for analyzing social and technical networks in conjunction with machine learning techniques and human-machine interaction techniques.

We increase the visibility and competitiveness of NASK SCIENCE in national and international forums. We build a friendly, modern working environment for scientists. We help raise and standardize standards of scientific project management. We organize training courses, seminars, scientific mobility programs and provide support in obtaining and managing grants. We support cooperation with scientific units at home and abroad.
