Development and pilot implementation of large language models in Polish public administration (HIVE AI)
We support the digitization of Polish public administration using the results of the PLLuM project.
Challenge
The goal of the project is to support the digitalisation and automation of routine administrative tasks in Poland through the pilot implementation of Polish large language models (LLMs) in public administration systems. We are building on the experience accumulated during the PLLuM project, moving from a strictly research phase to an implementation phase.
What we do?
The project is being implemented from February 20 until the end of 2025 in a consortium of 8 research centers and institutions implementing IT projects for the public sector, headed by NASK – National Research Institute. It includes 4 complementary activities:
- Construction of linguistic data corpora for baseline training, tuning and parenting of large language models
- Training of large language models, including baseline training, tuning and parenting
- Securing and evaluation of large language models
- Pilot implementation of models in the public sector
The project is financed by the Ministry of Digital Affairs under the grant number 1/WII/DBI/2025 titled “HIVE AI: Development and pilot implementation of large language models in Polish public administration”.
