Research interests: Large Language Models, Information Retrieval, Natural Language Processing

Wojciech is an Assistant Professor at the NASK National Research Institute, where he leads the NLP Department. His research focuses on natural language processing and information retrieval, with an emphasis on building safe and trustworthy language technologies. He currently leads the development of PLLuM, an open Polish large language model designed for reliable use in critical and public-sector applications.

 

He earned his PhD from TU Wien and was a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Research Fellow in the EU Horizon 2020 DoSSIER project. He is a member of the ELLIS Society and has been a visiting researcher at University College London and the University of Queensland.

His research interests include large language model safety and evaluation, information retrieval, domain-specific NLP, and multilingual applications.
