Join us to create a special issue of ACIG Journal dedicated to the situation in Ukraine

14.09.2023

We are looking for authors who will jointly prepare a special issue of the scientific journal published by NASK ACIG Journal entitled “The Russian-Ukrainian War: Effects on Global Cybersecurity and Digital Infrastructure” (Special Issue ACIG vol. 3 no. 1).

The Russian-Ukrainian war is currently one of the key challenges in the international arena. The situation not only has huge political, social and military implications, but also significantly affects the virtual space, posing a new challenge to the global stability of cyberspace and to national and international information systems. The war in Ukraine is part of the geopolitical competition between the West and Russia, in which Russia can count on the political support of China and the so-called Global South. This tension extends to the digital ecosystem and exemplifies the increasing use of cyber solutions as part of a hybrid war strategy. In the context of this conflict, it is important to understand what methods and techniques are being used, and what effects these attacks are having on global digital infrastructure and network security.

Professor Jacek Leśkow, dean of the EPAM School of Digital Technologies at the American University in Kiev, will be the lead editor of the special issue.

The call for original scientific articles is addressed to researchers and scholars of broadly defined issues related to cyberspace.

The deadline for submission of articles is November 30, 2023.
