See the results of admissions to the TIB PAN Doctoral School

Joanna Gajewska, Mateusz Bursiak, and Dipendra Singh will conduct their PhD research at NASK. On July 12, the TIB PAN Doctoral School announced the results of its admissions for the 2023/24 academic year.

The results of the admissions were published on the TIB PAN website.

Joanna Gajewska, under the scientific supervision of Szymon Łukasik and Ewelina Bartuzi from the Artificial Intelligence Division and Xin Yu from the University of Queensland, will work on image anomaly detection in deepfakes. Machine learning models will be the subject of research by Mateusz Bursiak, whose supervisors will be Joanna Kolodziej and Mateusz Krzysztoń from the Department of Distributed Systems. The topic of Dipendra Singh’s project will be third-generation neural network models in NLP applications. This project will be supervised by Grzegorz Borowik from the Department of Artificial Intelligence Applications in Cybersecurity.

The candidates had to justify undertaking research in their chosen area and were interviewed by the NASK admissions team. Their doctoral school education will begin on October 1.
