How does Google BARD sing in Polish?

Taking advantage of the opportunity to test the latest large language model called Google BARD and even before its release, our researchers Inez Okulska and Emilia Wiśnios tested how BARD performs in typical generative artificial intelligence tasks.

– BARD is an artificial intelligence model, so although from Google itself, it does not yet sing. Yet in Polish, it can really do quite a lot, and it feels that in the self-proclaimed kingdom of one righteous chat, it can stir up a lot. – begins a report on preliminary tests conducted by the NLP team at NASK SCIENCE.

  • BARD has rather restrictive limitations (frequent identification of forbidden topics), but it gives the feeling of a more (but not fully!) responsible assistant,
  • BARD is quite creative when performing tasks, and even requires a fom of interaction with a user that will probably better provoke users to think,
  • BARD is an extremely important competition for ChatGPT, as this will ultimately give us the best possible product.
