Project entitled ” Sensitive applications user profiling using machine learning methods” aims at improving user authentication security by applying behavioral biometrics.

Kamila’s research focuses on using behavioral biometrics, which is the analysis of a user’s computer interaction patterns (e.g., mouse movements, typing speed) to identify an individual and detect fraud. The solution she is developing can serve as an additional layer of protection, particularly important for applications that require a high level of security. Behavioral biometrics can detect an intruder even if they have the victim’s login and password. In addition, as part of the project, Kamila Lis is investigating the possibility of using partial password dynamics, often used in online banking, to verify the user.
