About AI at the All Inclusive Film Festival!

26.08.2024

Is artificial intelligence inclusive? What are the barriers to inclusivity and what can be done to overcome them? The second edition of the All Inclusive Film Festival ended at the Kino Żeglarz, and although it’s a film festival in name, there was a space for important knowledge on technology as well.

The All Inclusive Film Festival is an event promoting diversity and inclusivity, which took place from August 23-25, 2024 at the iconic cinema Żeglarz in Jastarnia. This was its second edition. The festival combines films, panel discussions, workshops and meetings, focusing on the stories of people from different backgrounds, including those experiencing exclusion.

This year’s festival guests included DJ Vika – the oldest DJ in Poland, Ola Petrus – comedian and educator, Oliwia Bosomtwe – author and editor, Julia Walczak and Katarzyna Zillman – canoeist and rower, Patrycja Wonatowska and Agata Polak – educators from Sexed.pl, Renata Orłowska – educator and activist, and others. In one of the panel discussions, Klaudia Wojciechowska of NASK together with Jakub Sobczak of Amnesty International discussed inclusive AI – how much it takes into account the perspectives and situations of different people, what results and may result from the use of this technology in the future, and what is worth following in the development of artificial intelligence.

We would like to thank you for having us at this event, and congratulate the organizers and sponsors for a great festival.
