Prof. Joanna Kolodziej

Research interests: artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, modeling and simulation, clouds and computing clusters

Joanna Kolodziej is a professor at NASK-PIB. She serves as chair of the Polish section of IEEE CIS and represents NASK in KIS10. Her main areas of interest include cloud computing, data sciences, and artificial intelligence methods (incl. machine learning). Prof. Kolodziej has authored and co-authored more than 200 scientific papers in the discipline of Technical Informatics and Telecommunications, leads international research projects (GUARD and Digital4Security in recent years), actively participates in scientific conferences (Programme and Area Chair of conferences of A+ and A rank, most recently Supercomputing Conference (SC18-SC23)), and engages in the editorial board of top journals in the world, such as ACM Computing Surveys. Prof. Kolodziej is a mentor and scientific supervisor for young researchers and PhD students and is a grant evaluator for national and international programs (NCN, NCBiR, Horizon Europe, Digital Europe, ERC).
