Research interests: theory of quantum information, quantum circuits, multipartite entanglement, open quantum systems, quantum metrology, quantum combinatorics

Grzegorz Rajchel-Mieldzioć is a theoretical physicist specializing in quantum information theory.

He defended his PhD in 2021 at the Center for Theoretical Physics of the Polish Academy of Sciences under the supervision of prof. Karol Życzkowski, with the topic of quantum combinatorial designs. The thesis was awarded by the National Center for Quantum Information Technology as the best doctoral thesis published in the field of quantum information in Poland in 2021-22.

Afterwards, for two years he was a postdoc at the Institute of Photonic Studies (ICFO) in Barcelona in the group of prof. Maciej Lewenstein, dealing mainly with multiparticle entanglement, quantum metrology and the use of machine learning in quantum information.

Since 2024, at NASK, he has been working on the use of quantum circuits to adapt quantum information theory to the physical world.

Additionally, he is interested in broadly understood quantum entanglement, quantum information transfer protocols and the use of the quantum world for objects known from everyday life.
